Thank you for your podcasts and essays. Denial and projection are indeed rampant; prostitution and porn abound; capitalism and patriarchy of course matter. But by the persistence of these dynamics, societal dysfunction has gone parabolic. The Eugenics people found the Satanists; the Zionists outblackmailed the CIA; and we still can't seem to get our minds around the global child sex abuse slavery network whose evil seems to pervade the entirety of global leadership. The usury pyramid scheme of bullshit money forces all of us to participate while we hang on hoping for some fleeting opportunity to grab at some lever of power, or else escape to somewhere we can think clearly enough to formulate some plan of regaining a shred of personal agency.
Meanwhile a genocide proceeds and those brave enough to stand up to it are being disappeared. Proof that the world is completely cucked by Israel is not hard to find, as it is fairly obvious that Netanyahu and company let 10/7 happen on purpose, is it not? Does this not make them complicit, and invalidate the entire fig leaf of self-defense under which 18 months of slaughter has proceeded? Are we all too distracted to follow this basic moral argument, or is reason passe now? What am I missing?
I think it might well be both. Israel allowed it to happen ...at least partly.... but it was also an act of resistance by hamas.- Im fine with believing mossad even planned it but I always worry a bit about this reinforcing the mythology of all powerful Israeli intelligence and planning.
I posited this idea right after 10/7 that Israel may have allowed the attack to happen and was myself attacked for implying that the Palestinians do not themselves have agency to defend themselves.
Thanks for the link. I already follow Katie. And I wasn't saying that Mossad COULDN'T plan and execute a complex attack, even a secret attack. My thoughts back then were that Israel, with some of the most advanced intelligence also would use any means to gain international suppport to come down hard on the Palestinians. And we can't deny that sympathy and massive support went out to Israel. Plus I was thinking of 9/11, which I think was an inside job and not carried out by Osama bin Laden and nine hijackers and that somehow USA intelligence somehow missed the warnings. Today, evidence points to Mossad doing an extraordinary job of executing the invasion. By any means necessary always righteously applies to the defenders. Still, it wasn't that far fetched or out of line to wonder at the time if Israel was complicit, as Michael said in his comment.
I hear this point and it is a sensitive one. There is a bunch to unpack in this. War and genocide are complex phenomena - but always involve propaganda, claims of victimhood, false flags, etc., none of which diminishes the sacrifices of those involved on the ground. If anyone had the right to launch what was called “a prison breakout,” it is the Palestinians. But there is much more to say… thanks for the thoughtful comment!

We have so much evidence these sorts of false flags are in no way far fetched. Operation Northwoods planning goes back to JKKennedy's era. But as you point out, if anyone has the right to plan and execute an attack against an oppressor and prison guard, it's the Palestinians

She was on TV a lot then, challenging myriad, problematic developments/technologies in reproduction, childbirth and mothering. A great thinker and writer.
