As for being shadow banned and having very few likes and comments, I find that I constantly have to update the posts I want to see by searching on the upper left side of the FB screen. Only then can I see if someone I follow has posted. Then it seems that the people I am following by searching on the left see what I post. Not sure that is a hard set rule, but most often I am only able to see your posts if I search or I go to my email, since I have signed up to receive all the latest Aesthetic Resistance podcasts. But that only works for AE podcasts, not for your other posts.
Over on Off-Guardian, they posted a tribute to Kris Kristofferson from Ed Curtin. It didn’t take long for the anarchist conspiracy scribes to come in with Cathy O’Brien’s casting of KK’s alleged role in MK ULTRA’s rape and brainwash programme. The admin’s response is worth quoting:
“To be clear this is the Cathy O’Brien who claimed to recover memories of sexual abuse by various celebrities and politicians as a result of hypnosis. Unusually for a fearless exposé of the power elite, her books and documentaries exploring these claims are very prominently featured in mainstream outlets such as Amazon, Apple TV, Youtube etc, for those who want to know more.”
Which predictably led to a barrage of foaming defensiveness and a depressingly typical announcement of the libertarian credo via the observation that KK’s “father was also in the military and ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ contains the lyric “Freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose” i.e. one of humanity’s most precious gifts, the one the control system most hates, ain’t nothing much really.”
Every time I hear these bold anarchist’s drone on about this contextless “freedom”, I think of Mel Gibson’s Braveheart bellow: “They canna tak’ awa oor FRAH-DUM!”
It’s a shame I missed the trans bit but I feel that is a VAST topic which merits an enormous amount of attention. The whole trans ideology is incoherent, dangerous, divisive, and frankly batshit insane.
Transgenderism demonstrates the following:
• Pretensions towards the “non-binary” immediately punctured by an inevitable lapse back into the old binary terminology.
• A disdain for the physical reality negated by talk of “transitioning”.
• A call for the “necessary” introduction of children – by definition prepubescent – to the topic of trans which will derail them from their development via puberty blockers. (This one has “Catch 22” written all over it. They are to choose their sexuality before they are even permitted to experience their sexuality.)
• A free pass to male predators to ignore restrictions guarding female only spaces.
Significantly, the trans issue is the only one which I get into trouble with on X. That’s when I get ominous messages telling me my comment has limited visibility for “hate” rules violation and I was once even banned from activity for 12 hours – and all this for making fun of the trans vocabulary.
And as Max pointed out, there is a deliberate stirring up of confusion over a cross referencing with the Israel/Gaza situation. Those quite rightly speaking out against the trans nonsense have been bamboozled by the sly alignment of the trans rights activists with the Palestinians.
